They perform emotional scenes using only the words goulash and ak-mak. i'd say this is maybe the annie baker play that i've connected with least emotionally but there are still moments that are really lovely, like i loved all the vignettes of people telling stories as other people in the play, especially the one where theresa is voicing james's story.
